Chapter 13: Forest's POV

I arrived at Charlie's place at 10pm. I only got done at work around 9:30pm and I was beat after the day I had. Besides the actual work I had to do, I also had to deal with Lauren sulking around the office for the entire day and I had to deal with hundreds of texts and calls from Christian, a man who should be studying instead of trying to reprimand me everytime he feels like I've done something wrong. No matter how I looked at it, everything that's currently going on is just annoying me and making my life more stressful than it needs to be. "Hey Joshua." I shook the man's hand before going inside Charlie's mansion. It may be slightly smaller than mine, but it still oozes luxury, style and sophistication. Every piece of this place is in perfect condition. From the tennis courts in full view outside, to the larger than life swimming pool, the garage that seems to be holding no less than eight cars and the garden that makes the place look like a palace. Charlie has more than done well for herself. My girl went from having nothing to having f*****g everything. No wonder she's been refusing to move to my place. Her place is pretty spectacular. "Mr Greyson." He greeted me with a smile. "Ms Ericsson and I just returned from her work. She's very excited to see you." I returned his statement with a smile. "How are things going with her?" I asked. "If you don't like working for her, you can come back back to me any time." He chuckled and shook his head. "There will be no need for that, Mr Greyson. Ms Ericsson has doubled my salary and increased quite a few of my employee benefits. Plus, I like her no nonsense attitude. It's a breath of fresh air." He chuckled again. A bit louder this time. "Most people hate that 'no nonsense demeanour' of hers." I joked. "They think she's too brash and unkind." He furrowed his broad as if to think about his response for a bit. "Mmmmmmm." He rubbed his short, trimmed beard. "I've been working as a driver for more than thirty years. After the first decade, it only takes you a few minutes or hours to figure out whether someone is a good or bad person. Ms Ericsson is one of the good ones, Mr Greyson." I smiled and shook his hand again. In addition to the dozen of attributes that make this man a great employee, I found that he's also a good judge of character. He mostly keeps his thoughts to himself, but when asked, he'll give an honest response every single time. His opinions about people have helped me out a lot in the past. Plus, the man is excellent at keeping up appearances. I knew Charlie would have wanted him before he even drove me to go see her the night I met with her. "I hope she doesn't work you too hard." I joked as I stepped inside the house. "She's a very hard worker, Mr Greyson." He laughed behind me. "She arrives at the office at 6am and leaves around 8pm or 9pm if things can't be helped. That's the first thing she told me before she asked if I'll be able to keep up with that." We both laughed as I made my way inside her house. I had no doubt that those are Charlie's hours. That woman knows how to work herself to death. "Forest!" I heard an excited scream and bare feet hitting the pure white tile floor, running towards me. She jumped in my arms wearing the shortest pair of sports shorts and a red lacy bra. "I missed you." She buried her face in my neck while my arms were laced tightly around her tiny waist and my head was buried in those wonderful curls of hers. "I missed you too, Charlie." I muttered into her hair. "So much." When I put her down I was met by the most beautiful smile and eyes that glistened with so much joy that I had no choice but to kiss her. I wrapped a hand around the back of her neck and brought her delicate face to to mine. I could feel her standing on her toes, doing everything she could to reach my lips while I bent down to meet hers. I finally decided to just pick her up again so she wouldn't strain herself and heard her squeal before my lips crashed against hers. "You taste amazing." I groaned into her mouth. "So f*****g amazing." Our tongues tussled and melted into one another. Her hands were in my hair while she moaned into my mouth. "Should we go to bed?" She asked in between kisses. "Or do you want to take me right here?" I kissed her for a few more minutes. This time, I found the nearest wall to pin her against it and wrap her legs around me while I kissed her, licked her and sucked on her skin. I was holding her up, spreading her legs while I thrust at her lightly. She was only wearing her sports shorts and bra and I was still fully clothed, but even dry humping her felt f*****g amazing. "No s*x for you until you behave." I stopped kissing and licking her and looked into those amazing hazel brown eyes of hers. "You're acting like a brat." "I'm your brat." She started rolling her hips while I held her up. "And your brat needs you to f**k her right now." Fuck. I kept grinding my hardness against her core while I stared into her eyes. I was so hard. Only Charlotte can make me this hard. "Do you know what YEARS of touching myself to images and memories of you is like, Forest?" She pulled me closer to her and whimpered in my ear. "It's absolute torture. I've wanted you inside me for so long. I've gone without s*x for five years! Please. Don't punish me like this ..." She was whimpering some more in my ear, trying to unbuckle my pants, "Please, Forest. I need you. I need you to f**k me. I'll always need you." I wanted to let her unbuckle my pants. I wanted her to see my erection spring out of my pants. I want her to see how f*****g hard she makes me. I want her to know she's the only one who can make me feel this way. But I couldn't do that. She's trying to bulldoze her way back into my life. She needs to stop that. I kissed her again while she unbuckled my pants. "I said no s*x for you until you learn to behave." I repeated myself. "You're cut off until you start acting nice." I put her down and slammed her body against the wall while we both stood. Those eyes of hers were pleading with me, begging me. She was pouting like a little kitten who was just scolded. She knows exactly what she's doing to me. She knows just how much I want her too. This is f*****g torturous for me. She's mine. After five f*****g years, she's mine again and here I am restraining myself from having her. "You need to get along with Lauren and Christian." I scolded my little kitten. "I know what you're trying to do. You're trying to kick her out of my life, but I'm telling you right now Charlotte, she's not going anywhere. So make peace with it." Her pouting stopped the second I mentioned Lauren's name. All the pleading in her eyes was now replaced by something I've seen plenty of times before - pure rage. I knew it wasn't directed at Christian. She's never truly had a problem with Christian. He's the one who has a problem with her. The man can never really give a good reason why he dislikes her, but he's always been adamant that he's not a fan of hers. "She's in love with you." She pushed me away from her and I let her. "She's always been in love with you and because I've been gone, she's under the VERY MISTAKEN impression that she can have what belongs to me." "She can't though." I turned her around to face me. "Lucas Greyson has and will always belong to Charlotte Ericsson." I started with our mantra. I could already see the anger in her eyes melting away while I held her face. "And Charlotte Ericsson has and will always belong to Lucas Greyson." We both said together. She sighed and slumped her head against my chest. "Are you going to behave?" I asked while running my fingers through her hair. "Why do I have to tolerate you having another woman in your life?" She asked angrily. Her head was still slumped against my chest. "Any fool can tell that woman loves you. Why should I be forced to watch her pining after you without any shame as to who sees her or sleep in your house, probably hoping that one day you'll barge inside the room and confess your love for her." I tilted her face upward to find a scowl on her beautiful face. I chose to let go of everything that happened five years ago. I never wanted to mention it again because she clearly doesn't want to speak of it, but right now, in this moment, my Charlie needs to hear this. "You'll bear it because you left me." I said as gently as I possibly could. "You watched me go on my knees, beg you for weeks to talk to me and fight for us, but you refused to do any of that. Charlotte Ericsson you broke me and Lauren Mitchell helped me put myself back together again. She's not going anywhere and I will not tolerate you mistreating her. So listen to me when I tell you that you need to behave or else you'll lose me." She gasped and took a step away from me. "You love her." She whispered. "You...you love her." "I do." I admitted. "I love her, but I'm in love with you. I'll only ever be in love with you." "You're going to leave me for her... aren't you?" Her voice was soft and had it been any other woman, they would have had tears in their eyes right about now, but not Charlotte. Charlotte Ericsson doesn't cry. "Never." I tried pulling her to me, but she tore her hand out of mine. "Charlotte, I don't have an ounce of romantic or s****l feelings for Lauren. I see her the same way I see Annabelle. She might as well be my sister." She was taking more and more steps away from me, but I was closing the distance between the two of us. I wouldn't let her think something so preposterous. My heart belongs to her; not Lauren. "But she isn't your sister!" She slammed a fist against my chest when I slammed her body against mine. "She's a girl who's in love with you and you know it!" Her fists kept hitting my chest and she was trying to escape my embrace, but I wouldn't let her. Her delicate hands were nowhere near strong enough to inflict any pain on me and she herself wasn't strong enough to make me let her go. "I'm yours, Charlotte." I buried my face in her neck and held her body tightly against mine while she tried to escape me. "I will only ever be yours. That's why the first thing I did when I saw you after five f*****g years, was to try and put a baby in you. Despite knowing how demanding our careers are, all I could think of when I saw you was how I could make sure you never left me again. I'm trying to trap you here, with me." I chuckled as I said that last part. It seemed to have calmed her down. "You won't make me a single mom while you're off living your best life with Lauren?" She mumbled her angry words. I chuckled and shook my head. "I will make you a mother of three, maybe five ...or six kids. I'll marry you, raise them with you and spoil you all rotten. That's what I plan to do with you." She chuckled right back into my chest. "We'll have two kids at most." I shrugged. "We'll see about that." She looked up at me, huffed and blew one of her curls out of her face. "Okay." She groaned. "I'll be nice to Lauren. I'll treat her the way I treat Annabelle...", she gulped, "like a sister." "Good." I kissed her nose. I knew this was hard for her, but I also knew she would ultimately say yes. She'll always say yes to me. "Now," I picked her up and put her over my shoulder, "let me give you your reward for being such a good girl." She squealed and laughed while I marched to her living room. I much preferred to go to her bedroom right now, but I realised I had no idea where it is and her place is too big for me to go searching around. I laid her down on her plush couch. Every single item in this house screams luxury and fortune. Even her simple shorts and lacy bra are clearly designer. My Charlie has more than made it in life. "We need to figure out our living arrangements." I hovered over her body, making sure my hardness was aligned with her core, but careful not to put all my weight on her. "We're two fully grown adults who live in the same city. We can't be sleeping apart during the week and only seeing each other on the weekends." I lifted myself a bit so she could spread her legs for me. My belt was somewhere on the floor so she was busy trying to unzip my trousers and get to what she clearly wanted desperately. "What are you suggesting?" Her smile widened when she unzipped my pants and started pushing them down, still struggling to get them completely off because I was lying on top of her. "Move in with me." I stood up and took off all my clothes before pulling off her shorts and finding her wearing a red lacy thong that drove me insane. I laid on top of her again, put a hand inside her tiny underwear and pushed it to the side, leaving her exposed. When I lined up my c**k with the entrance of her core, she gasped and tried thrusting her hips so she could have me inside her, but I wasn't going to let her have me just yet. I was teasing her, rubbing my hardness between her folds, listening to her whimper while she got wetter and wetter and wetter. "Come on, Charlie." I continued teasing her c**t with my c**k. "You can have this every night. I know you want to. Just look at you...so wet already and crying even though I've barely even started with you." Her legs were already shaking and her cries were so loud. She was having an orgasm, coming undone right under me from having me rub her wet c**t. "You're soaking wet, Charlie." I groaned into her neck. "Move in with me so we can do this every night." Instead of answering me, she kissed me. It was slow, filled with her cries while I swallowed them and before I knew it, I was inside her. *** After hearing her scream my name for an hour or two and watching her experience orgasm after orgasm, I was now watching her sleep. At some point while making love we found our way to her bedroom and when I saw it, I knew that she would most like want to renovate my suite at the mansion if she ever agrees to move in with me. Even members of the Royal family probably don't sleep in rooms as beautiful as Charlotte's. Both of our phones kept lighting up with notification after notification even though it was 2am. When her phone started buzzing, I reached over to grab it to stop the buzzing. 'Hey Sexy, I'm getting one of my lackeys to send you the Stanton brief. It's eight hundred pages worth of transactions to go through. Lol! Good luck, Char. Forever yours Connor' "Connor." I read the name out loud. I remember that name. It's the name of the man-child who dared to touch her the first night she and I met. Why's he calling her sexy? I stopped the phone's buzzing and put it back down. It took all my strength not to wake her up and make her show me every single message she and that man have ever sent one another. She's mine. Charlotte Ericsson belongs to me and I won't tolerate anyone thinking otherwise. I shook off any mental images of the two of them that tried creeping into my head. I would kill any man who tried to touch her the way only I can touch her. She was sound asleep with her head tucked in my neck. Her leg was draped over me and her hands were caressing my chest even in her sleep. Naturally, we were both naked. Going to bed with clothes on would just be a waste of time with Charlotte. I kissed her forehead before trying to detangle my body from hers. She draped her leg over me again before I could move the rest of her body. "I need to go to the bathroom." I chuckled at her. I proceeded to get her off me as gently as I could. I was just about to get out of bed when I felt her hand grabbing my arm. I turned around to find her on the verge of bursting into tears. "Don't leave me." She said all scared like a child. "Please, Forest. Please don't leave me." "Hey," I sat on the bed. The lights were off, but I could see the pools of tears gathering in her eyes. She looked genuinely scared. "I'm just going to the bathroom." I reassured her. "I'm not leaving. I'll be right back." It only took me a second to realise from the fear and tears in her eyes that she wasn't awake. Charlotte wouldn't let me see her like this unless she had no choice. She wasn't awake. "You're going to leave me." She said all disorientated. "Please. Please Forest. You can't leave me. I...I won't survive it. I love you. I'll only ever love you." I crawled back into bed as quickly as I could and wrapped her in my arms. She clung on to me for dear life and nuzzled her head in my neck like a little kitten. "I'm never leaving you, Charlie." I promised her. "Ever." It only took a few seconds for her eyes to close again, but I stayed, holding her like that for at least half an hour before I went to the bathroom.
